Lunch at Shibuya Sawasdee

Went to Malaysian Embassy with my wife this morning after sent the kids to kindergarden. We then had lunch with Thai food at Sawasdee. It tasted good for the price, 930 yen, and the mood of the restaurant is excellent, I would say.

My wife works at Singapore Hainan Jeefan Shokudo restaurant. We used to talk about to have our own Asian style restaurant when we retire (we did try to have one before but it didn't work). Today we talked about the original noodle which we had it before in Malaysia, how we can make it on our own, the customer would prefer homemade than instant-type, how the way Japanese preference of food for recent trend, etc. I don't cook much nowadays, nor do I passionate to be a chef in the near future, I still would like to have a shop to serve customer and if possible find the best way to serve food.

I'm a big believer in quality food - everything has to taste right, for me to justify returning to the restaurant. And if the mood compliments the food, hooray! That's the best experience, good luck in achieving your goal one day.

Enjoying my weekends with 3 kids. It means lots of energy needed; you got to go to the park when it's sunny, bring them to the pool when it's hot, carry them heading to the toilet when they say chi-chi (pee!), make sure that there is enough food/fruits/sweets at tea time. When everyone is tired, then you make sure you got enough nap with them. When wake up, hey world, dinner is ready!
