Couldn't take the photos before the keynote started though, but it was more than 11 hundreds of attendees this year, despite the economy downturn. 75% repeaters, 25% are first timer. Sales are good for FileMaker, that's why they can invest to develop. Due to NDA, can't tell you much. But, I am glad that I came, it gives me the confidence about the software, where they are heading, that makes me feel good about where I am. The commitment FileMaker has for its clients/users.
It was packed, couldn't tweet as I liked. Wi-Fi seems like life infrastructure! :)
Went to Rye for tweetup. Met quite a few nice gentlemen. Got my FM twitter T-shirt. Will wear it today.

Holidays are always nice. Back to Japan, things are back to normal, am going to work everyday now. Trying to make my schedules up to dates, making appointments and meetup people again. When I was back to Kuala Lumpur, I didn't have any alcohol as I had to drive everyday, except in the plane. But, once arrive in Japan, you can tell the life here makes you want to grab a beer or two, and to go out to meet people.
Will be in the States (San Francisco) next week for FileMaker Developer Conference. Planning to stay at my niece's house a day or two before DevCon. This is my first time to the States. Oh yeah, I got to apply for ESTA. And it costs almost $50? Hey, you charged for visa, and now you charged ESTA to get us prepare ourselves to go faster? That's ridiculous.
You still need a few more years to get the America to change, may be.

A pool that I can swim in the morning, late evening till 10pm, and can work from home. Such a nice condo pool.
This condo that I am staying at, my niece and her hubby bought the lot. I can see lots of middle-east countries people, Oman, was one I talked to the other day in the pool. Qatar, I think, was another one I talked to the last time I came. Evening, you see so many of them having parties at the poolside. This sort of luxuries is something I can never able to imagine while in Japan.
Pool. Even if I exhausted in the pool, I still want to swim in the luxury.

Tried to scan some document and to send by email, looked for a scanner nearby and download the driver online. It says will take another 22 days to download it. The Multimedia Super Corridor of Malaysia, when will the door comes closer, I wonder. I mean the driver. LOL

Had durian after one dinner. This was D2. It was so damn delicious! Yummy! For ages, I haven't really enjoyed durian like this. For those who likes it or don'ts, it seems quite extreme; either like it or hate it, no in between. Just like those who like natto.
The old man speaks Hokkien over the phone, so I tried to talk to him in Hokkien. He's really a nice person to chat with. I can feel he has tones of stories to be told about durian. Sadly couldn't talk to him much as customers walked in continuously.

For Hokkien origin from Malaysia like me, the first thing I would like to eat when arrive home is to have the Hokkien mee, the hokkien style fried noodle with black source. This is unexplainable, no reason.
